The 2016 Europe Music Awards (6 November 2016) were held at the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The wild night was hosted by the super busy singer and song writer Bebe Rexha. Her mates include Jaden Smith, Jourdan Dunn, Charli XCX and Tinie Tempah.
Bebe put on a show as she changed eight outfits and performed three songs. I feel like she performed more than she presented showing that she is more than just a beautiful face. She shows that she works hard for everything no matter what.
The music producer got everyone’s attention with her never ending costume changes and she surely made a mark with each costume.
Bebe walked the red carpet in a showstopping black gown by Julien Macdonald. The dress featured a revealing front-split, a zipper all the way up and black sequins. The V neckline was accompanied by a black choker to give the look a 90s vibe.
My favourite look had an elegant touch of royalty, a beautiful red gown by Vivienne Westwood which had an off-the-shoulder neckline and high split accessorized with elegant gloves, sparkling heels and a tiara. She wore it during an awesome performance where she was seen descending to the stage in a royal throne. With this outfit she showed that she was the queen of the night.
For another stunning performance she wore a sheer red gown by Michael Costello. The gown that shaped her hourglass figure featured a see-through floral pattern and big sleeves. This was the most classic and elegant outfit of the night.
MTV EMAs paid tribute to Prince, the rock icon by painting the award purple (to remind of the Purple Rain hit), and that was Bebe’s inspiration for one of the outfits she wore on stage: purple sparkly trousers with a matching bomber jacket and a purple bikini top made by Ashish (UK).
House of CB and The Blonds made Bebe an elegant and sparkling outfit. A pink fur jacket covered her next outfit which was a mini dress that had gem stones and sparkling studs emblazoned across it. She accessorized the outfit with furry heels and a denim choker for a retro twist.
Another outfit change was a more comfy black dress which allowed the blonde beauty to … twerk. The sparkly outfit was made by Katy Rodriguez and had a plunging neckline, an asymmetrical thigh-high split and she wore it with a pair of black sneakers.
The most impressive performance featured a big furry monster in the “U” shape. The artist performed her single “I Got U” wearing a strapless knotted crop top and sparkling Swarovski studded high-waisted pants paired with suede knee-high boots.
The silver-white outfit was one of my favourite because it pointed out her platinum blonde hair. The high-waisted pants and a blouse that showed a lot of cleavage were accessorized with a silver stoned necklace and for a look twist she chose two belts.
Another look that Bebe embraced was a latex dress with a serious thigh-high split. She wore it with a white blouse that featured big sleeves, nude fishnet stockings and black heels. This look wasn’t my favourite but I like how the big sleeves go with the medieval hairstyle.
As she left she posed in the winner’s room wearing a baggy denim ripped jacket, thigh high boots with an interesting sparkling flowers pattern and a nude & silver fishnet mini dress.
For sure we will see this new face around more from now on!
